BCS awarded two Performance Contracts

TONAWANDA, NEW YORK (Friday, April 23, 2004) BCS has recently been awarded Energy Performance Contracts from two educational facilities.

Herkimer BOCES has awarded BCS an Energy Performance Contract that includes Lighting System Retrofits, Window Replacements, a comprehensive HVAC System Upgrade/Fuel Conversion and Web Enabled Control System, ­and a Domestic System Replacement. The project will generate over $1.8 million in energy savings over the contract term as well as improve indoor air quality conditions.

In addition, BCS received a contract from Jamestown Community College for an Energy Performance Contract that includes the installation of a new central boiler plant to serve the entire Jamestown Campus. The project includes the decommissioning of existing inefficient decentralized boiler plants and the installation of a variable speed campus pumping loop. This project is being interfaced with the Campus Master Plan implementation.
