07/18/02 FALCONER (NY) - Chautauqua County Executive Mark W. Thomas presided over the ribbon cutting ceremony at the official opening of BCS' office facility at 2663 Third Avenue in Falconer New York. Attendees included state Senator Patricia McGee, and state Assembly members William Parment and Catharine Young, area county legislators, local town and village officials as well as BCS corporate staff. "It's an honor to be here today and to welcome BCS as a new member of Chautauqua County's business community," County Executive Thomas told company president Robert Galdys. "Your commitment to invest and create jobs here speaks well of the business climate that the county offers growing service sector companies. I wish you great success here." The new BCS office was established to better serve the firm's rapidly expanding Southern Tier and Pennsylvania clientele. Company officials cited continued growth in the Southern Tier and Northwestern Pennsylvania's expanding business environment for their expansion here. BCS has projects currently underway or recently completed for The Gerry Homes, Chautauqua County, Chautauqua Institution, Falconer CSD, Jamestown Community College, St. Mary's Home of Erie, Bradford Regional Medical Center, and the Randolph Central School District. BCS is a full service energy services company and control systems integrator. During the past six years, BCS has increased their staff by 35 percent to accommodate major contracts, which they have secured with local school districts, nursing homes, hospitals, municipalities, and the State of New York. The Jamestown office staffs engineering, automation and mechanical technicians, project management, administrative and sales staff. The company provides a full range of services including temperature control system installation and service, HVAC system installations, energy Services, and systems integration.
