BCS awarded multi-year service contract for Western and Central New York by NYS Department of Correctional Services

Building Controls & Services, Inc. (BCS) has been awarded a multi-year term services contract by the New York State Department of Correctional Services (DOCS). The contract covers the three year period through 2010 and encompasses Emergency Services and Preventative Maintenance Services for 21 Department of Corrections Facilities in Western and Central New York State.

BCS provides Mechanical, Building Automation, Energy, and Engineering services to the DOCS Facilities as part of the term services contract. This contract is the third consecutive term contract awarded to BCS for these regions and, to date, BCS has addressed over 800 term service requests. BCS supports DOCS' facilities with a dedicated team of engineers and technicians who work solely on term service projects to ensure that the facilities receive fully-trained and experienced staff in dealing with these unique environments.
